Caron Shay has been working in the real estate industry since 1983. She began her career working for Shea Homes in Santa Clara, California, one of the largest privately owned residential developers in the country. During her tenure, she assisted in the forward planning aspects of the projects, coordinated the closings of hundreds of homes and eventually moved into the marketing and sales side of the business for AM Homes, another award-winning home builder. In the early 90's, Caron relocated to the Wood River Valley and put her experience to work in her own business, Oclassen Homes, Inc., where she successfully designed, developed and built homes for sale. She became one of the founding members of Associated Brokers, and then Caron and her partners agreed to sell their firm to Sotheby's. After working with the Sotheby’s brand for over a dozen years, Caron decided to join the most established residential real estate franchise system in North America and take advantage of the innovative marketing, networking and power in numbers behind the Coldwell Banker brand. In 2017, Caron gained the distinction as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and was also recognized as a member of the Million Dollar Guild.
A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Dayna Buxton began her career at Pebble Beach Resorts in California, specializing in hospitality management and corporate events. After moving to the Sun Valley area, she served as the Executive Director of the Killebrew-Thompson Memorial, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. During her time as Executive Director, Dayna broke fundraising records by $230,000 by working closely with the distinguished Board of Directors and increasing major corporate sponsorship. In 2016, Dayna joined her mom, Caron and jumped headfirst into real estate. Dayna has loved bringing her five-star hospitality training into the world of real estate and enjoys providing excellent service to all her first-time home buyers as well as repeat clients.
