I've lived in western Colorado for approximately 44 years. 6 in Telluride and 38 in Montrose. We purchased our first house in Montrose in 1983 for $45,000 and sold it 4 years later for $45,000. The same house today is worth approximately $350,000. Fortunately not all of our real estate adventures have turned out that way. I've been a real estate broker for 30 plus years. I've seen just about all of it and experienced a lot of it. I've built houses, remodeled houses, Bought and sold a multitude of properties. Owned and remodeled commercial property, Owned, operated, and remodeled a KOA campground. I was on the board of directors for the Colorado Campground Owners Association. We've owned properties in Telluride, Crested Butte, Gunnison, and Montrose. I've been the president of an HOA and property managed 40 Condominiums.
The bottom line is I'm going to take great care in navigating the waters to make sure we find the property you want to purchase or we sell the property you want sold and that the transaction is completed in a timely, ethical, and stress free manner.
